I made this account specially to post this since i did not find anything similar in the suggestions (if there was and i missed it then I'm sorry)

1.Face Armor
Many of You probably have seen the square goggles in stores, when equipped they take the place of the hat and render You're character bold (which looks creepy on female chars).
So maybe adding a "Face" equipment slot would be a good idea for items like goggles, masks, half-masks, mempo (samurai facial armor) the last are already in the game as part of the samurai helmet, however this would allow them to be worn separately without any type of helmets.
Additionally this could be also used for pure cosmetic items like eye-patches or hokey masks or some kind of tribal masks for cannibal's and stuff for some extra character customization.

2.Soldier pack's
Even without reading the road map it doesn't take a genius to know that hunger and thirst will be implemented at some point so having an additional small equipable pack (similar to backpacks) on the belt below the current backpacks, solely purposed for rations would save some inventory tetris.
The pack would not give any weight reduction or combat penalty, but would allow to store a single stack of a food ration and a water canteen (or whatever water container would be used for that purposes i doubt will be carrying barrels of water), maybe one additional space for a stack of small med-kits.
For example the cheapest one will allow a stack of 2 and the most expensive a stack of 6.
The reason why i called it a soldier pack is because its purpose would be mainly to give you're fighting characters some means of self sustain on shorter travels without taking space in their inventories with food items or having to delegate a character for carrying food and water.

3.Additional armor options
This game has one of the best health/injury systems I've seen with separate limb dmg and stuff so maybe adding additional slots for arm and leg armors on top of what we have currently (separate for left and right limb) would give some more customization as well as the ability of creating a really heavy armored character for the price of movement speed and some combat disadvantages.
Examples:
Having separate equipable bracers for both hands (maybe adding bonuses for martial arts fighting) having a heavier bracer/gauntlet on the hand with would give extra dmg or something) or armored arm sleeves similar to those worn by some gladiators.
Additional shin guards or armor plates on thighs for more leg protection for the cos of mobility.

I know some of this suggestions require changing the current existing assets, but then again this are only suggestions, if they start a discussion that ends up improving the game by even the slightest bit then my goal has been achieved.

I agree.

In addition to the excellent suggestions above, I want a neck slot where you can equip an item like a religious talisman that gives a little morale bonus to something or other.

+1, both for the suggestions themselves and the tone and politeness of the post. If I was a developer I'd be supremely happy to see this sort of thread. Nice job.

I believe it may be possible to mod additional inventory slots in the future whenever the GUI re-skin occurs. I say this because Chris makes mention, in his podcast with JPS, that the tools available to the modding community are the same tools he uses to develop Kenshi. SO, that's something to consider.

I would give the same response here. It should be possible to create a mod that makes space for waterskins/flasks whenever survival elements are implemented, since it looks like that will happen after the GUI re-skin.
