I am new to your forum and have just started playing your amazing game and I find I am having a hard time keeping myself from playing it all the time now, I can hardly even sleep at night now O.O (no need to apologize sir). If you would allow me to suggest some highly beneficial features to you now, I guarantee you will find these features positively beneficial to you and every one of your many fans as well.

I have noticed some of your hardcore fans have complained about not having enough loyal followers to support and defend more than one settlement/outpost/base/etc. My suggestion to you is to add a command group function to your ui menu by adding small square icons just above the beautiful box containing your followers, allowing you to have several easily selectable groups with a portrait of each group leader in each square icon.

You could place a group at each of your settlements or perhaps take advantage of the command groups easy organized access to allow you to separate your groups by function, such as workers, defense militia, bandit hunters, etc. and so forth.

If you take advantage of this easily available feature and implement it into your amazingly complex and powerful game, the potential of you and your manifestation of exquisite and pure awe shall rise beyond, allowing you to also expand on features you originally wanted to implement into the game when you first started but your design path made difficult to dive into, such as multi-settlement gameplay, constant expansion and exploration, hunting parties, allowing for the option to have a separate party to concentrate on indulging into quests, and even faction wars altogether. The list goes one, even as far as implementing leadership skills that benefit the group under the command of said character that the player designates as commander 1, 2, 3, or even 4 and so forth.

Please take the time to read my post, I promise you will not regret it.

Sir,

Welcome to the Kenshi community!
That is an awesome amount of compliment you have there.

At the top of http://www.lofigames.com, there is a link to the Roadmap which displays a list of things currently in the works, and the approximate time they will be seen in Kenshi.

Your ideas for multiple squads are already planned for the future, but I find that thinking about the specific design you mention is an acceptable system to manage multiple squads.
Its somewhat reminiscent of Shogun: Total War 2.
During battle each flag displays a model of the general commanding the unit.

Seeing as many people have already attempted to utilise multiple squads in multiple regions, I am assuming that with the implementation of multiple squads, it would be possible to move the squads, and the characters in them, wherever you wish.

You should take ~30 minutes to check out the first couple of pages of Feature Requests as well, just to see what the community talks about the most.

EDIT: Fixed Roadmap URL

Ah, I have seen the roadmap on the front page I believe and I looked at the stickied suggested feature list post.

I hope to see all of those features added into the game with ai being the most important thing especially for a game like this with such a complex system and an intense focus on the single-player gameplay, there aren't many game developers that can actually boast about a creating a genuinely "smart" ai.

And thank you for your compliment upon my complimentation >_^

Fixed the link to the Roadmap in my previous post. That was a silly copy/pasta error on my part. Not even sure how I got that phrase to my clipboard. XD

If you're referencing the stickied index of feature requests, that thread hasn't been updated in a long time, and there are many, many more requests out there that aren't included in the stickied index.
