Import Squads From Different Saves Into the Same Saved Game

I just thought it would be cool to be able to import squads from separate saves into the same save when more squad members are allowed. This would allow people to train their armies on separate saves and then import them into 1 main saved game which would create the whole army the player has trained and combine the squads from the 2 saves.

This would be really nifty, but I believe it to be more likely implemented through the use of modding.
To be more specific, I mean finding out if it is possible to transfer the char files from one save game to another save game manually, rather than having the option inside Kenshi itself.
