Character Customization needs help

By far one of the most frustrating things about the game (for me), is the character customization that pops up when you hire a new recruit. Half or more of the time, the camera hits a wall, table, or some other object and floats way above the NPC so you can't even see their face/body. And if I didn't know better, I'd swear the code for this says, "turn NPC in a direction facing AWAY from the ambient sunlight". Seems that no matter how I approach these NPC's for hire, they always turn the wrong way, and their face ends up in the shade rather than in the light. Even when accepting it due to these issues, and deciding to pay the extra cash for the plastic surgeon, they will often turn away from the sunlight, or the surgeon will be in a bad position.

Character editing window needs keybindings to "rotate character", at the bare minimum.

That still doesn't help when the character is 2 feet from a wall and the camera just goes above their head.

Yeah, it really can be a bit of a pain. Though I saved off screenshots of my most frequently used characters so I can easily recreate them with just the numbers. It actually helps quite a bit, if you only intend to do minor variations from previously used characters and such.

Still a "teleport to a wall where their back can be to the wall and their front to the sun" would certainly help, as well as the ability to rotate the character. It might also get "fixed" when they add in the lighting systems, street lamps, indoor lights, etc.
