Suggestion : Replace "New Game" by "Main Menu"

Hello,
I import games a lot while playing kenshi (mainly for recruitment). At the time being, I have to quit and restart the game to do it.
I was wondering if you would (pretty sure you could) change the ingame menu so that we could import our game from it or at least get back to the starting screen.
On a side note, while importing in the current default resolution, the last advanced option is unavaillable because it's out of window.
Cheers Albibak

Is it a possibility that your default resolution is smaller than 1920x1080?

Hello,
Yes it is. And yes, I know I can change it in the config file.
But, as it's a fresh steam installation, I guess 720p is the default for steam users at least.
I don't use the option and therefore it doesn't annoy me. I just thought it was worth mentionning for future updates.
Same for having to restart game to import. It's not gamebreaking, but it's frustrating and should be easily improved.
Cheers,
Albibak

The reason why I ask is because there are several issues with scaling that occur whenever the resolution is smaller than 1920x1080.
I'm confident they're aware of this issue but are waiting until after the new world map to fully fix these issues as they mostly impact the UI scaling, which also just received a big overhaul and is still undergoing maintenance.
If you ever encounter scaling issues similar to the one you experienced here, just change the resolution to 1920x1080 and the issue should be rectified.

1200x800 sorry. The "option" was easy prospecting btw.

I only suggested to get players a way to get back to the main menu without having to quit and restart and then I was jedimindtrinked into testing resolution stuff... well ...
While importing game.
Still don't see easy prospecting on 1080p.
I get only the upper part of the text and ticking box on 4k.
Cheers,

Moving from the game to the menu might feel to be an interesting challenge, since it may involve clearing as much data into the state when it opened. I may not call it a problem, but then I thought about the inevitable crash in the 32-bit versions... Hopefully simply I'm speculating here.
On the wacky side of resolutions, widescreen or pseudo-widescreen resolution is where my laptop rides in: the 1366 x 768 ("Forget 1360, just add 6 more and call it the max resolution point," says my control panel). 1920 x 1080+ monitors may involve larger screens and costs, so the desktop in use gets to have the decade and a half - old flatscreen monitor with max resolution of 1024 x 768. Apparently, my laptop has an option to take on the more experimental take on resolutions by making custom settings that may wreck hardware if used improperly... but me talking about how the UI goes in my resolution settings should be in a different thread. I'd say the title text placements are pretty off, to put it simply, and placing objects is a challenge when the tooltip decides to block the view while moving items in the inventory. As it's the first UI iteration I see, I'll cut slack.
