I just thought of something that would be cool! Mount and Blade has this thing where enemies leave trails that you can follow.
It would be awesome of you could stalk opponents through the deserts by following trails!
Tracking enemies
I thought about this before as well.
But I figured that leaving foot prints on the sand would be to difficult and confusing.
But if you could turn on a tracking option like you can turn on stealth, and then if you pass by some place that has a trail an arrow like with stealth would show which way the trial leads and possibly how many people went that way.
Could be accomplished with single artifact left behind for a certain amount of time then it deletes.
That one object could hold the direction and numbers of a squad that passes by. Squads that travel about would leave tracking objects every so often, or when changing directions, or after certain distance.
of course with so many squads walking about that could cause a lot of cpu overhead.
But it would be a neat option.
