Killing Blow

Hello, i think there should be a option for a killing blow on downed hostiles/animals due to them constantly getting up over and over causes the players much grief and constant hassle as they will get up and just fight again damaging your group as if they were just not injured/almost killed..a simple system to via right click and hold to thrust your sword into the hostiles head could be a much required feature as anybody could simply choose to murder another person while they where unconscious/dying

-Thank your for your time, Mdsxeon

there's been a lot of discussion on this, chris replied at some point that if its implemented. npcs will also sometimes do it to players. IMO doing it should come along with reputation hits with any peace-loving factions, being a murderer shouild make you really notorious. Your other option is disarming them, imprisoning them, or hopefully in the future shackling them

I think the more important thing for right now is that after having their whole squad eliminated, people who get up go right back to fighting instead of doing something more sensible like running away. If they weren't suicidal it wouldnt be a problem if they woke up afterwards.

Indeed, as I've said before to this suggestion and why it doesn't exist - I would rationalize is as the world having some kind of hardcore honor system, where you don't outright kill someone after you defeat them.

But yes, they should be more likely to run away than suicide into a whole group of enemies while they are injured.
