So with the new food feature, I've noticed that I've been clicking pretty wildly to queue up 100+ meatwraps or foodcubes in my stove queue.. About the 10th time of doing this scattered over several game days, I realized there was a dire need for a "repeat craft" button in the queue menu. It would act just as it sounds. A little button next to the queued item that you can check for it to continuously craft that item until you decided to uncheck that box or remove it from the queue.

Additionally, I think rather than it just repeating that item alone, it should still cycle through the list and craft the entire list, but rather than removing that item from the list, it would simply keep it there. Basically, you could have two or three items queued, and check them all on "Repeat" and it would cycle through the three items. This could be useful for when i'm outfitting troops after fully researching something like samurai armor. In 0.7x, i would queue the chest, pants, and helmet, then queue all three again, over and over in order to provide a full suit for people. It would be nice to only have to queue them up once, check a box next to them, and have it cycle through those three items continuously. Allowing the repeat button on each queued item though would allow me to toss in a one time queue for something like boots if i suddenly felt i needed to craft a pair, without having to remove the other three. I would simply add the boots to the list, but not check the repeat button next to the boots specifically, and it would craft one pair of boots, remove boots from the list as it normally does, and then continue cycling through the three repeated crafts.

I was just going to add this as well. I was thinking just a check box to have them repeat until out of ingredients.

Mainly need it for food. If it was just on the stove it would be enough.

the simplest implementation would be a checkbox that pushes completed orders to the back of the list after completition

+1 support to this. Going back and telling Khalid to make more dinner so the town won't starve every 5 minutes wasn't fun or intuitive, honestly.

I have a macro that presses left mouse button 111 times or something within 10 seconds. After about 120 it starts to lag the game every time it queues a new one. I would love to see automatic food storage as well, seeing as how I had 2 full general storage boxes filled with meatwraps and once foodcubes. So much right mouse button X_X

An option to enter your own numeric value for quantities would be nice.

I'm going to have to voice my support for this as well. This should have happened long ago. But especially now.

It has always been a thing that your people can (upon being setup properly with assigned jobs) be alright without you. And I might add that your miners don't need to be told to mine every rock. Your farmers don't need to be told to keep farming.

Likewise your weaponsmith should know to keep making swords per their last received orders. Obviously your cooks should keep on cooking until you tell them to stop. Etc.

A checkbox as suggested accomplishes this wonderfully without necessarily forcing it in the case you didn't want them to continue.

This is a definite need. Was wondering if it was possible to get it to repeat, now hopefully it will be soon.

I'm thinking
add 10, 20, 50, 100, and of course repeat
