Visceral Survival Gear!

Okay, who wouldn't want to wear a beaked thing's face as a headdress and the back of its neck for a cowl?! Seriously.

I'd like to see some more gruesome and colourful attire -- dog-teeth necklaces, beaked thing headdresses, raptorskin pants, heavy leviathan-skin cape with skull pauldrons -- the sort of thing a halfway psychotic badlander might be expected to wear in this sort of world.

Just some thoughts. I could see gear like this dropping on a bandit boss, for sure.

I was thinking about this kind of thing as well. But I was thinking it would be something you would craft. Skin armor, instead of leather. Lower protection values, bulky but creatable from the raw resources.
dog tooth clubs, that are made of building materials instead of iron, weaker blunt trauma, but adds more bleeding.
skin breeches, moccasin style boots, ect.

I'd like that as well, but definitely I think some unique items would be cool, too.

The main problem I see with some of them as far as crafting goes is the items needed and subsequent burdens on looting. The headdress, for example, would conceivably require that a beaked thing's head be looted, which might not be so bad, but then how often does it drop? It should rationally drop all the time, but then that would make the headdress extremely easy to make and thus probably common.

Well, they did just open up the Meshes and Textures to modify and such. . If you guys wanna give it a go, please do! - There wouldn't be a way to MAKE it in game yet, but you could pre-attach it in the Construction set.

Definitely in agreement though. I would love for there to be a host of more armor/clothing options.

Would that I had the graphic design skills. ;)
