Nice to meet you, I am a Japanese player.
I am very thankful that it has provided such a wonderful game and that the Japanese localization was officially implemented.
I have two questions about Japanese translation.
Q1
I would like to ask questions about future plans for Japanese localization,
Do you have a schedule on when the next update will be?
To be honest, the current Japanese localization has many strange translations and Non-translated Dialogue,
and I wish you to update little by little.
Q2
Is "main.pot" in the "en_GB" folder the latest edition?
As a temporary measure against a strange translation, I am creating and distributing MOD.
If there is no official update for a while, I would like to update this MOD.
However, it seems that main.pot is not up to date. Could you please update it?
And we'd appreciate it if you could answer the extent possible.
Two questions about Japanese translation
Hi Peshrian.
Thanks for the feedback!
Q1 - We expect another Japanese translation update around October/ November time. The localisation will be mostly finished then (about 98%!)
Q2 - Yes, that's the latest edition. Make sure you're opted in to experimental version to get it.
Could you give us details on how the translation is strange? The more detail you can give us, the more we can try and improve upon it. Any feedback you give in Japanese I can also relay directly to our interpreters. Or you can email me at nat (at) lofigames.com

Thank you for your reply!
It is extremely happy information that updating Japanese translation is near.
I will also tell the Japanese community. I think that they will be pleased!
Also, I was playing with a stable version, so I did not notice the update of main.pot. I'm sorry.
For details on strange translation, the following URL is the translation adjustment MOD I made.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... 1418675989
This is based on the copy of the official JP translation,
It fixes translation, or adds it newly.
(However, some of them include a prank)
The part that has been modified even though it has already been officially translated is a strange part.
Even if we say a strange translation, there are several patterns.
First of all it is a simple mistranslation.
Examples include "Sand Ninja Oni" and "The Five Invincibles".
These are completely different words, so I think that they should be modified.
Next, it translates proper nouns that should not be translated.
I think that it is the same in many countries, but even in Japan, We do not translate proper names such as person's name and place name.
It is common to write in phonetic characters "katakana".
However, "Eyesocket", "Horse", "Deadcat", etc. have been translated, giving a strange impression.
Finally, it is a translation that is not a mistranslation but is not appropriate.
These are so numerous that I will give only one example.
"Flotsam Ninja" is translated as "Hurou Ninja", but this is not a mistake.
However, it is rather a word that recalls a beggar or a street dweller.
So, I wrote them in katakana in my MOD.
I think that personal preference will separate for the last category.
There is actually a person who says NO also in the expression of my MOD.
If we have a forum where we can write in Japanese with practitioners of translation you can hear many opinions ....
I do not want to deny the current translation, I think that I want it to be a better one.
Please tell me if there is anything I can do to help you.
P.S. There is not much sense of incongruity about conversation sentences.
I think that it will improve considerably by paying attention to how to choose nouns.

Thanks for taking the time to explain this for me. I'm currently looking into arranging for our translators to directly communicate with you via the forums.
We want the translations to be as accurate as possible and your opinions are important us
