Okay, so something is not working or I'm just dumb as usual.

I'm trying to translate the whole game "directly", not as a mod. Since it's Polish, I made the pl_PL folder (which is not shown in launcher as "Polish" but *pl_PL*) with proper filenames and order: https://prnt.sc/muzdes
But it seems not everything is translating properly. Even if I change the head, left leg, right arm etc. words to Polish, in-game they are still in English. I copied the whole Deutch translation to my pl_PL folder and also these elements, along with factions and dialogues, are still in English, but when I change game language from pl_PL to Deutch the body parts are in German. What's the problem? What am I doing wrong?

I don't want to make the translation as mod because it won't let me change the launcher language.

Looks like your pl_PL.translation file is empty. Perhaps you did not press the import button in the construction set. This will transfer the translations from gamedata.po into pl_PL.translation. See the importing section of the guide.

The guide does say mod in that section but this step is needed for both translation types.

Ok, I fixed it and now all translations are in-game, but what about that *pl_PL* name instead of "Polish" word in game launcher? There's nothing like that in translation files or I am just not able to find that.

Bump about that "*pl_PL*" name in launcher instead of "Polish". Does the translation need additional config to change that name or it depends on game?
