Question about Donating

Hi, I'm throwing this question at the developer himself. I was wondering if I bought the game once, but decided that I truly love it (which I do) and wish to keep on donating because the special edition of the game looks so appetizing.. If someone were to donate on a regular basis for example, would we still be entitled to the bonuses you offer based off of how much money we donate? As a working man I can honestly say that I would be more than happy to donate to a game I can truthfully say I enjoy and love out of most, but as much as I'd like to I can't afford to pay 2000$ at a time to assist with designing a faction. Even though that would be so amazing. So my question to you is, can I set up something of a regular basis donation in some sort of account and keep track of how much I give whilst being rewarded at the same time? Because my alternative is to just start giving out free Kenshi keys after I buy them myself for 10$ every month while streaming for the game to popularize it. Which isn't such a bad idea either.. Actually that could go with what I said above anyway.

So you want the $2000 one but you want to pay it off gradually?

Best bet would be to PM chris about it directly, although it honestly sounds like more effort than it is worth. You would be better off saving that money and then spending it lump sum when you have the right amount.

I'll be sure to PM him, thank you for the help. And I know it sounds like a lot of effort but a faction - not to mention what comes beneath, sounds like a great deal. Plus it's more about helping the game in development. I plan to keep donating long after I reach 2000.

What i meant was, him having to set up some system to keep track of your donation sounds like it is not worth the effort. Keep in mind that if you donated $10 every month like your suggestion then it would take 200 months (16 years) to get to $2000.

Even being more realistic at $200 a month is still almost a year that he has to track your payments. Then there is the time he needs to work with you and to finalise your faction you want to design. You would be far better off hoarding your money until you have the lump sum and then send it through to him so there is no chance of mistakes or wayward errors with bookkeeping.

Still, he might do it. I just think it is a little far fetched. Good luck with your PM.

Yes, I don't have a system that can track and add an individuals donations unfortunately, but if you are genuinely willing to total it up to a large amount like that then I'm happy to arrange something as I can just keep track of it personally on a notepad or something. send me a PM if you like.

Well, I love to do math so we're good there. And I understand the gravity of your estimation but truthfully, I plan to support this game for a very long time. And if I get rewarded for doing it, then so be it! Plus I plan and hope to donate more and more as the months go by, so I'm sure it wont take a year. And lastly I'm not just working for the faction. Maybe I just want my name in the credits too I can feel special, which I'll only need to donate 20 more dollars for. Or create a NPC and even Super NPC that can be named whatever I want and have whatever gear I have on.. That is the most exciting offer I have ever received in a game.
