I played the demo to see if it would work good on this computer. It did just so. Worked way better than I thought. Now I'm getting payed this Friday and I'm really thinking of buying this.

I kinda sucked at the demo. I only participated into a guards vs enemy clash ( which was awesome) and killed. I talked to the guards and just said to get lost. Then I went to a bar and got a regular guy and he went with me. Then I couldn't loot anything since there was nothing in the chests or barrels or anything. Then tried to attack a shop guard and couldn't catch up to him and had everyone in the damn city chase me and try to kill me. Then both of my people died. ( I was at a cliff and couldn't go anywhere I got killed and fell down the cliff ( RAGDOLL WIN ). I wish I could have a dramatic jump off the cliff :D .

So I failed at it, I know it's like very early in beta but is there more to the game?

Any way can anyone give me a comparison of the Demo and Bought game major differences.

only current difference is (iirc) the skill cap and follower cap. Its the same game otherwise, keep in mind this is an early version of the game still in heavy development. next patch is adding a ton of stuff for example, mining, farming, cooking, brewing, and research.

Demo is the same as full. Only things different is that you can have maximum of 2 people squad and they have skill cap in 20.

There isn't much to do in the game just yet but the combat and survival parts are likely only going to get harder. The game mechanics are kind of tricky and there is some luck involved in getting through your first 4 or 5 fights. This isn't like some games of skill where you learn to control the combat and emerge victorious. Kenshi runs a lot like a sim. I do believe there are plans to model not just blood but bones and hydration and hunger. There aren't any player skills beside tactics and strategy that will help your characters survive. All combat is dependent on your characters' skills alone. Until they have some skills they can't fight their way out of a wet paper bag. Figure out how to just defend yourself to start with and the game will make more sense.

Also, this might be irrelevant to you if you want to buy right away, but the price will be going up after the next patch. So if you were thinking of waiting a couple of months until some more features have been added you might be shocked to find out that things will be more expensive to get this game.

I highly suggest you pick it up when you get the chance; even if you just leave it in your computer for a couple of months sitting there you can always open it up and the auto-updater will let you know if there is anything new. A great system to be honest.

More people and a higher skill level makes all the difference. I have 14 people, and it allows me to actually fight bandits by myself. One of my guys usually gets knocked down, but we just patch him up and carry him until he's good again.

Also, trading. With a whole lot of people with backpacks, you can carry a LOT more trade goods AND loot.
