I noticed that some NPC's have two swords in their primary weapon slot. do you do more damage having more than one weapon equiped?

I dont think so, all 20 of my boys carry 3 swords and there damage is relevant to just 1 of there main one, usually the top one if you have two in the main box as i understand it.

Edit: sorry by top i do mean the best one not the one at the actual top if you have two katanas in the main box.

I don't want to achieve immortality through my work. I want to achieve it through not dying.

You have two weapon slots. The character will use the weapon that does most damage.

You should always proofread carefully to make sure you didn't any words out.

Need help? pm me or any other mod.

I don't think we will get dual wielding. I can't remember what I read or when but I believe it to be so. Once limb severing is added every fighter will likely be a one armed warrior anyways. Perhaps the ability to disarm an opponent will be implemented? Then a second weapon would be most prudent.

Right now the secondary weapon is useful for when, as an example, your two handed sword isn't useful because your left arm is crippled. Your character will then pull out their katana and use it. As for duel wielding it has been discussed to death in several threads, Chris has said he may implement it at some point, but currently lacks the animations to do so.

Now that you mention that i take the chance to do a question instead of opening a new thread, so if when the arm cripled he d take the secondary weapon, what about when carry a person, would it be the same? He should pul in that sitaution of his secondary? Because i had my heavy weapons guy carry someone and when it came to a fight, he pulled out the beast on his back, like if was nothing  with one hand instead of grab the one he had on his hip. I gotta admit tho, looked badass to swing a heavy weapon like that with a single hand and a passed out mate at the shoulder while fighting a group of bandits xD.

And would be indeed nice to see some double wielding. And about the be able to place two swords in the primary slot, isn t that a sort of bug?
It s Hbrown!! Gotta get some pies!

iirc chris was waiting for animations, which he would have to hire an artist for, and theres more pressing things that sort of money could go into right now like the sound engine.
