Well, if you look on the right of the screen it has the map on the screen (even though i have it mostly slid off-screen)- you can see the location.

You're absolutely right. Cheers!

Really would like a fresh start, both in regards of location and layout of outpost. So now it's filling bags with stone and stagger northwest then.

Well decided to go back to the sand color instead of the green, in the earlier screenshots. So this is what the new layout looks like.

Don't like the (building material storage) building as it doesn't seem to fit in but I can get so much more containers in it. All the containers are fulled up with the materials that it can hold.

Hope they make ore, rum and fabric containers sometime soon, as I hate to mico-manage some of the goods manually.

And yeah the mines are facing in opposite directions as they go to the refineries much easier.

With the weapon storage I have one side for Light armor/weapons and the other side for heavy gear.

Also building strength by overloading your character walking from top to bottom of this plateau doesn't take too long.

By far the best outpost ever seen by me... keep it up and when you think you have reached a considerably higher level you should post a new screenshot. Also is it possible to make a second outpost that wold be marked by a different circle?

I want to share my current outpost (it started with update 0.42 and I did not play kenshi for a few weeks for now). As you may see, my game allowed my to build next to Clownsteady. And yeah, the Outpost in Clownsteady itself is mine too.

I had one mod for steel bars (now obsolete) and another one(self made) for various things (like med packs, cages etc)

The building material is totally autonomic, so there is no need for operators, yay. I nearly finished the tech developing. As you may see, there are a lot of unused buildings, they were meant for storage purpose, but, well, I don't think, that this game will be continued. I need a fresh start :D

A side note: my current wealth is 160k just by selling weapons.

still in the process of getting a base down building as I need only have a few hours into the build, built the outpost in this way so bandits have to circle from 1 of only 2 directions as well it delays there attack trying to get around the buildings

My favorite outpost spots, they offer

1) Equidistant from several towns for trading and bounties

2) Lots of traffic for fights and trading (when implemented)

3) Good natural defenses (until walls)

This one i have been working on now for a while. tends to take a long time when you only have 5 total squad member's. This is on-top the mountain top south west of Brink.
But i have everything needed to build up my little town. was working on nearly the last piece of tech i believe as well.
Enjoy my hard work. here is " Brooker Hill Top Compound "

Is it only me who prefers to build in an open place where you know you gona have a hard time with enemies? This for now, because when things get harder i will look for natural defenses too, but for now i prefer open spaces to have some ocasional visits, which still are rare last time i did...

My spot brings the bandits/ninja's and holy empire directly to me.
I just like the view i get from my perch =(^.^)=
And commanding the high ground is just plain good military tactics

yeah i know, i just like to know for sure enemies go there, and i think i found a suitable spot for a small outpost, tho it sticks mostly there, a trading post close by, and a town, but no police to sel bounties, and short building space, with a high view, i still want to look for a place which is good in most ways, but i wnat to be a hispster and not go to the corner where most avise  , i prefer to get my own spot.

my little town of gate a friendly little town that will crush the holy empire under its heel, saving the left side for a coliseum when we get wall and cages

I originally had an outpost set up north of Catan... it seems that many people favour the location, but, exploring i found a nice little clearing inside the mountains. It has two long winding paths as entrances and seems to be fairly active with sand ninjas and dust bandits so there's some action, though definitely a lot more quiet than near Eye Socket.

I'm thinking of setting up another base here, but its a long way to bring the building materials!
