I first saw this in the "Early Access" section on steam.. I was a little hesitant based on the graphics, but I decided to pick it up.. And I was hooked instantly! It's only in alpha and I'm blown away! I'm very excited for the future of this already great game, I have ADD with games and lose interest fast based on the lack of content or depth, but as of right now that seems endless with this game
So my question is the buildings settings private/public do they work? I had my guys hiding in a shack to avoid the roaming sand ninjas, and they just walked right into my building and slaughtered me! I was assuming the mechanics weren't implemented
Thanks
My thoughts.. And a question about buildings
Still ask me why so many people talk liek the graphics are horrible or so bad that makes the game unplayeble, might nto be theesbt, but i odn t think thye taht bad, i even like them.
About the buildings, they do work, however against an hostile force, they will ifnore if is private or public, if you do nt want them to get in you need to lock the door, it shows as an option if you leave the right click and wait for the options at any door.

It s Hbrown!! Gotta get some pies!
Oh i was not meaning you as one of those person, but i see people trash the graphics say they horrible, which is pretty stupid in my opinion, i like them even at the moment, not the best but they fine, and when you rememebr is an alpha just gets at least me :O

I find the graphics really nice considering the scale of the game I mean if you compare it to a game like supreme commander where you can zoom quite far out and in the level of detail is better in this game I would say.
There is nothing off putting about the graphics in fact when I saw them on steam I thought they looked pretty good especially when compared to other games similar to this genre.
If anything I think in its current state Kenshi needs work on the game play rather than any graphics, for me there are areas of the game play missing which makes the game not unplayable but I know I would enjoy it a lot more if features like functioning walls, doors, gates as well as ai pathing and public sales were all working correctly.
I have spend upwards of 14 hours on some days makes a base with the intention of doing public sales only to find no one ever comes to my outpost no matter where I build it.
