I'd like to introduce myself. Most online on different communities know me as Azumazi, which is generally said in one of two ways, A-zu-ma-zi in its Arabic form, or Az-u-ma-zi which some of my friends pronounce it.

Great job so far, most of the issues I am seeing in the game are from what I can tell ironing out the code especially with navmeshing, but that's not uncommon with the OGRE engine which it seems that you're using. It's a great engine, but the tool sets for it are a bit unwieldy and require time to master. Glad to see you're moving along nicely from the humble beginning it had going years ago.

A few impressions I've had going into 67.0 is that the bug fixes are definitely helping stability. I generally only have maybe one super crash every 4-5 hours of running the game constantly. This definitely helps with testing different features which I do quite often with the ingame tool set and the construction tools you have.

A few quirks I've been having that might need to be balanced that I would like to bring up in my own topic instead of locating all the different ones is to not just say what they are but why I think they are and how I think they could be fixed and to open discussion about them.

Doors and Gates: The most common issue that people discuss happens to be the pathfinding issues with the doors and at times with the gates being closed them having to run up to unlock and open them before continuing to a job. This generally is fixed by either rewriting the navmesh in the area and or just opening and closing the gate a few times. My primary concern is with how easy it is to damage the gates and doors and how quickly they seem to go down. Now, this isn't that big of a deal at times since the gates are quite easy to repair. The issue actually stems from the house doors and outpost doors. Outpost doors are from the looks of it heavy steel reinforced doors, yet they go down faster then you would ever expect from a few hits from light handed clubs. What might need to be placed in later is a possible resistance setting to the doors to slashing and bludgeon hits with different values placed on the type of gates and doors. Also the other issue is how long it takes to repair doors on houses and outposts. It seems from what I can tell take upwards of 4-5x as long. This is quite an annoyance if say you're close to a door fighting a mob and the door, while open mind you, starts taking a lot of damage from wide swings. This is especially common if say they glitch on the walls and spill over into the base and you're literally fighting them all over and possibly in the buildings through out the base.

Turrets: Now some of these are going to be bugs and a few balance features. My favorite, the ability for the turrets to move at a 360 angle on the wall. That is possibly due to you wanting to allow them to be completely rotatable when they are not on the wall and on open stands out in the sand or the like. The funny thing is how I've some how managed to have my guy SHOOT himself with it because he aimed it behind him to fire on someone running through the base and well that poor accuracy bro :o . The only other thing I would suggest is a possible faster rotation speed for the turrets based on the turret skill of the user. As leading targets up close is difficult for what seems to be a simple mechanism to allow the crossbow to pivot. The harpoon guns is a bit more understandable. What might be a good idea is limit the pivot to a 270 degree turn arch, but the issue with that is doing that with how slow the turn could actually lead to more problems as they attempt to rotate it completely around to engage another target and could even possibly make them bug out as it is now they like to at times rotate into themselves to fire directly forward again if they were firing behind themselves.

Most of the other issues I have seen have already been discussed in other threads I have read through and overall are being looked at. These more in general aren't just "suggestions" which is why I didn't place it in that thread as much as a general topic of my own considerations and what other people might think of them as well since its more of an opinion.
