Massive memory usage

Hi guys. I don't know if I'm the only one experiencing high memory usage in my game. I run kenshi and after about an hour playing it starts to LAG a lot. As j close the game and head into task manager it says 3+ gig memory usage. At optimal usage and minimum usage. I'm running windows 7 2.5 dual core cpu 4 gig ram GT450 1gig so maybe it's my specs but I don't know

This is normal. It isn't fully optimised yet and maybe there are still some small memory leaks.
Also Kenshi has to store a lot of data (think of the amount of squads roaming around and the areas that have to keep loaded). Before you may ask: If the game exceeds ~3,75GB it will result in a super crash because of the 32-Bit limitations.
For comparison: I have an AMD Phenom II X6 1055T @ 3,5GHz OC, Asus Radeon HD 7870 and 8GB of RAM. After a while it still starts lagging in my hometowns, so don't worry too much about your specs being the problem.

For a PC-only game 4GB of RAM aren't that much.. If you play games more often and you have the 64 Bit version of Win7 it would be worth it to invest into another 4GB.

the high amount of ram usage is normal due to the memory leak thats currently in the game.

Like the others said, the game right now has some errors that make certain bits of code go haywire, but many of these issues such as the RAM overload should be resolved with the new update, which as of right now still has no ETA.

Statistically speaking it should make an appearance around the Christmas season, i mean, at least i hope it does, so LoFi gets some more moneys, but also for my own gaming sake
