Also Chris is planning on releasing the update next week
Ooh, nice. Thanks. And good to have a tentative timeframe for the next update.

Not completely related: is Chris planning on adding any non-humanoid races to the game?

Alright, thanks. Just wondering. I personally am not a fan of it, but I know it's something that gets mentioned occasionally when talking about sentience and such (usually moreso in sci-fi than fantasy).

Just saw this thread and am seeing all these screenshots for the first time. So Cool! And I really like the new lighting, I picture a group of people standing or sitting around a table just barely in the light talking about doing shady deals or something. :D

*looks at recent pic* Looks so good, my eyes hurt at the greatness of structural details. Current pathing system might not appreciate it, but no one asked its opinion unless I'm proven wrong.

Have to keep my graphics settings to a low level to have mercy on my hardware.

Remember the concept art for this from a while back?
Now it's in 3d and it looks just as horrifying.
