I've bought the game a long time ago, a time when dx11 wasn't a thing yet so my card does not support this new high tech thingy.
Will I be able to play the game again considering my old (but able non the less) hardware? If yes, is there a planned time? Thank you.
Will the game revisit DirectX9/10?

As far as I am aware, I do not believe that there will be legacy support. Due to the large amount of data, there will no longer be support for 32-bit computers. As for Direct X 9/10, I do not see legacy support for that either.

That's a sad thing to hear as I wasn't planning to get a new graphics card any time soon, I'm currently running on a 9800gtx+ 1gb. with a 920 I7 4.2 OC, which managed just fine pre dX11.toaster Assassin wrote:As far as I am aware, I do not believe that there will be legacy support. I know the feeling, Divine Divinity did the same thing to me.
If you feel like upgrading for cheap you can aways try ebay. ( However, definitely be careful with what you buy )

Sorry but no. Although we originally tried to support both, it got more and more complex and we had to keep jumping through hoops and causing more problems just to try and support DX9. We're only a small team, so we had to drop it

That's the thing, games are increasingly becoming more complex. There is a point where you have to stop developing for older setups. It's the progression of technology. Graphics improve, amounts of data increase and there are many, many limitations with older DirectXs. It's not overly viable for companies to cater for out-of-date PCs.
Sometimes the easier option is to leave people behind and wait for them to catch up, rather than hinder development.
