I'm not one to give empty compliments, but I do feel strongly about passing them along when I feel they are warranted.
I'm kind of new to Kenshi, but I've dabbled in the indie game community for years. I play games, I've contributed voice acting, music composition, and art content to a number of smaller indie titles, I had a roommate for a while that was one of those crazy geniuses that could just pick up any instrument and play it. I've filled in as project manager, sat down with the lead developer and a composer who was given the direction to develop "medieval style" music suitable for a fantasy game, where the poor guy went out and bought a quality sound sample library of medieval instruments and produced what I'm sure was a reasonably accurate reproduction of what local musicians around 800 A.D might have sounded like, but it was totally not suited for a game soundtrack. And the composer just did not get it. (just one story of many).
When I see someone like Kole doing some very professionally produced video clips and talking about music theory and discussing the creation process, and demonstrating the effort involved in creating something that goes well beyond an in-game jukebox for your favorite [insert genre' here] band, I think that's great stuff! (No blushing Kole)! Seriously I see a lot of talent there, and I'm very impressed.
I have been impressed at the level of talent and creativity that I've seen contributing to Kenshi's development in general. Chris is very lucky to have you all onboard
