is the location above the city marker (northwest) in the new map, a snowy field ?
considering that it'll be part of the next update, im thrilled

but, there's only a small green on that image, i had hoped there'll be more green area
anyway, what's the scale of the new map ? just a rough estimation...
will the map section for the next patch as big as the current one or bigger ?

No, that's not snow, it's fog. You can see the fog islands in this picture here: http://cdn.akamai.steamstatic.com/steam ... 1455302951

There won't be a great deal of green area, it's mostly more arid land.

oh awright.. sir koomatzu, are those "farms" produce foods or fabrics to support the city ?
so will there be a working "economics" in the next update ?
i mean, as in the goods will not randomly spawned, but actually produced by those farms/city.

will that finally be a thing ? :D
i'd love to see a working economics in Kenshi, we could starve a whole city by taking out the surrounding farms, then proceed to conquer the city and claim it.
or to make the price of certain goods rise by disrupting the trade flows of that goods

Hey Kooz, I see there are some large metal structures in the fog, if we can go into the fog, can we go hunting for scrap metal/parts like

*MINOR STAR-WARS SPOILER*

Like in Tatooine, how Rey searches in the ship for parts to get goodies?

It's planned https://trello.com/c/bv7mVGrV/18-hunger ... mic-prices but I don't know much about it sorry. If it is added, I expect it will be a while away yet.

I don't know the details, but I'm pretty sure relics and salvaging is gonna be a thing - in fact research is going to be based on artifacts instead of Cats after this next update. I think it all still needs to be 'distributed' around the map yet though.

Every time I read "Cats" in an official post, I get my hopes up, and then remember it's just the currency in Kenshi  .
