Intel Q8200 2.4GHz quad core
4giga ram
Gforce GTX 660

The game is smooth as fuck with everything on highest. It just start to be a little laggy when I play too much time, but I guess it's because the corpses stay in the game until I exit.

a 660 is a pretty beastly card, but the corpses do cause RAM to get eaten up pretty quickly. The 530 is rather out of date, the 30 series of Nvidia cards has always been earlier generation hardware, or purposefully crippled to be sold at a low price point. The 230 was effectively an 8800 for example. The ops issue and yours are significantly different on that point. Your system lacks a little RAM, but I have to wonder if you're not building a town. I mean, if you're constantly moving, and loading and reloading cells corpses should disappear fairly fluidly, but if you remain in one location near a large number of corpses by mining and building in one area for a long time this may not be working as intended. Corpses do have a set amount of time after which they disappear now, but it is several hours of play time I believe and depending on how fast the time settings are that can make for a vast number of corpses. Not just those produced by your squad, but depending on the cell you're in any bandits or guards combat will result in a large number of corpses, a couple hours may be a bit long for some systems for the numbers of corpses that can potentially crop up now to last.

As you mentioned restarting does reset the corpses, but I imagine that to be more of an interim thing, at some point I imagine that all of the corpses will remain static for a certain amount of time, so long as they are within a certain distance from your squad. Of course, at the moment it is far easier to flush game data that may cause issues, and corpses glitching through the terrain (rare, but something that can happen) could cause issues with reloading, so I believe that is the primary reason things of that nature currently reset. As we move closer to the Beta phase of the games development cycle I think some of those things will improve, especially on a system that is really only lacking in RAM such as yours.
