Short question, short answer

Hi,

i m asking everyday some questions and i think its better to just open a thread for all instead for one question.

1. Since i started my first village, some hungry bandits roaming through it, but they attack very rarely, is this a bug or normal?

2. My units run to the next storage cotainer when they dont have any food left, but they dont take the food from the storage, they just stand and wait, some ideas?

3. Shop counter: my village is public and so is the building with the counter, but no traders appears in my town.

4. Does on the actual map exist a spot where i can get cotton from? No trader has it. (pls only yes or no if i only have to find it ^^)

1. Look at your relations. it has to be high enough for them to attack always.
you could also be hidden from view so they dont see you. i had hungry bandits walk thru my town but i had the door closed and they never saw me and they always attack me on sight.

2. can you give more detail on the accrual food box your using and what your trying to do with it.

3. you can only sell trade goods. there are no trade caravans back in-game yet. though travelers can some times come by and buy but its rare.

4. you can grow it.

2. i have 1 storage container with a lot of things in it, like iron plates, building mats and greenfruits. And i have food storage container with vegetable stew in the house now. Sometime they run from container to the other and back again all the time.

3. what are trade goods? fabrics and things like that? and with sell, do you mean to carry it to a city and sell it or selling through shop counter.

4. yeah i know that, but i need about 10 cotton to build the farm to grow it ^^

sell to the cities because trade is very small at the moment.

storage container.. you need to put the food into a food storage box. they wont currently get it out of a standered store everything box.

someone mentioned on Steam forums about cotton and why he couldn't harvest it yet.
that lets you know you can buy cotton in some city.

The problem is the community of this game isnt really big, so its hard to find answers and the most answers are 2 years old.

actually its rather easy but time consuming. thats why i know so much, i dont know everything but i can easily find the answer usually here or on Steam. but then again i read every single post on both forums so i have a slight advantage. plus my searching skills is pretty decent.

so the answer's are here you just have to utilize search, or read the entire forum. or play for vast amounts of time. which i have done all the above.

but enjoy your game.

Perhaps it is possible to create a Search Index,thread, (one that lists common topics and is hyper-linked to the relevant post) Sometimes when people utilize the search bar, they cannot find what they seek because the thread is named something off like (ex: "I have an idea") or they spend a long time sifting through relevant words. We could possibly make a search Index for each major topic section (Gameplay, general, etc). What is your opinion on this mods or community?

1. You start out neutral to Hungry bandits so they rarely attack you. But the more you do fight them the more they will dislike you and you will eventually fight them all the time.

2. What Hatsune said about the food container is correct. It must be the actual food storage container for them to use it, but also check to make sure your inventory is not full. It the don't have room for the food they will not take it. The running back and fourth is a common symptom of a full pack, but sometimes the AI just gets confused.

4. Cotton is sold at the vendors, just not all the time at everyone. You can also check with the famers as they tend to sell it as well. It actually takes 18 cotton to get started, 8 for research and 10 for the farm.

it worked with the food storage container and my farm work aswell, but now i know what you mean with bandits attacks all the time. I will start a new game
