Steam "kickstarter"

Valve just announced a webpage to where indie developers can submit their concepts/games, similar to the Steam Workshop but with this page the top voted games will get approved to be sold on the Steam store.
I'm posting this here because I think it would be a good thing to use when it's available (supposedly at the end of August). I think it would be a good way to raise some awareness for Kenshi and if lucky enough get the game to be sold through the Steam store.

Be sure to submit it as fast as possible when it becomes available because there will be a smaller amount of games and yours will be easier to find, then we can all upvote it and it'll immediately get to the top rated list ^^Chris_The_Great wrote:Yeah I just found out too, exciting news!

Though I am not too fond of steam, it will definitely give Kenshi some major publicity. (excellent post RoqueDemon).

Just as a side note for people who don't know.toaster Assassin wrote:Though I am not too fond of steam, it will definitely give Kenshi some major publicity. (excellent post RoqueDemon).
A game being sold on Steam doesn't mean that it can't be sold anywhere else or that it's going to force the use of Steam if it's bought in another store.
Steam acts like a retail store in most cases. The publisher is the one who controls the rest.

Every one must vote, or be thrown into a pit were you must play Dragon age 2 for all eternity.

Hey all, found this game through Greenlight and LOVING it so far. It's right up there with Overgrowth in terms of my excitement. Looking forward to seeing how the game develops!
Also found out about this game via steam, all I need to do now is save up some extra cash to throw at the developers to help out. Speaking of which (sorry I know I'm hijacking this thread of sorts) but for the likes of people like me who have came from steam to this site, is there any way we can contribute past buying the game for $10? I might not be able to do it right now but for stuff like this I'm happy to throw $100 or so every few months the staffs way in order to help out.
Considering this is almost like a wet dream come true.

as far as i know right know you can only buy copies of the game and spread the word about kenshi to help out
also i think chris may start a kickstarter in the future
for other ways of financial support you will probaly need to see what chris says to that

pm Chris and you can donate any amount you want.
Here is the indiegogo campaign: http://www.indiegogo.com/kenshi, you probably can still buy into some perks that you like, just get into contact with CHris and be patient, the guy's doing this almost alone.
Throwing money at the dev is always welcome
