A question about disbanding

Hello.

Anyone knows what happen to a char that we disband?
Example: I save a Holy Nation Outlaw, he joins me, i train and reequip him, didn’t change his name and after that I disband him on a bar.
He disappears from the game after a while, goes back to previous faction?

Un named npcs will eventually despawn and named ones will try and head back to where they where originally spawned. If they survive the trip.
