Elder Mountain Dog?

Is there a way to get Elder Mountain Dogs in your squad currently? Last I checked half a year ago it wasn't possible unless you edit your game.

I think you could use someone else's old save file to start a "new" game with a doggo. It won't be entirely new, but the doggo will be there in the squad. You could then hire some green low-skilled, customizable merc, disband everyone else, import again, and boom, it's "Guy with the big doggo" start, who eats who is a big question now, but still
