Crossbow Crafting Cost Extremely High or Just Bugged?

I have a lvl 72 Crossbow Smith and it costs nearly 20 crossbow parts and twice as many steel bars to make a single crossbow. Also, in the crafting menu it says it's going to be rusted junk quality but it still comes out high quality as it should. Anybody else have this problem? Is it supposed to cost that much or is it bugged, perhaps costing more because the workbench thinks the crafter is unskilled? If its a bug can this post get moved to the bug report section or should I repost? I'm on the latest regular build and have restarted the game and dismantled/rebuilt the workbenches. Everything else crafts just fine.

Yes this occurs to me too. 50 crossbow smithing skill but the crafting station takes about 20 crossbow parts even though the menu said something like 4 and many many steel bars
