Progress???

Guys I've been watching Lp's and this game looks amazing. The lets plays are like 7 months old and well I decided to play the demo to see all the progress and improvements that have been made to the game and it looks the same..... Guys is there any great game play and game improvements coming up ? I know there's one dev but come on it looks as if no progress has been made. No offense to the dev I mean I know he works hard on the game all I mean is I see no major progress or improvement s in the last 7 months. Its probably that i'm a newb to the community and having been tracking the games improvements.

There are some new stuff, not too many, mainly bug fixes and minor stuff ( like the faction relationship, options ingame etc.. ) However, there is a big update coming, where will be more detailed models and females, also building cities ( Not just buildings like houses ) and probably something cool that chris doesnt want to talk about to keep it as a surprise.

Just stay tuned and you will find out.

Nobody knows, but this news have been out since last moth i think, so it should be coming soon enough

chirs is giveing fractions to tax you for money. he will give you the abillity to craft and do reaserch, and he might give you power (wind mills based of his post on the funding campagin). he has also stated that there will be new armor and weapons as well. he may also put farming or resource gathering since he activated labor button in the stats tab (of course that may be for crafting)

When is this going to happen? I want to play something new lol

New? Like carrying soldiers? Revamped medical system? Rebalanced merchants who actually reset stock now? Buildings? Basic training dummies? Beds for healing? Completely redone (from scratch) pathfinding system?

None of those are in the LP's from 7 months ago because they are all newer than 7 months. We also have mining and basic crafting coming soon. Mining will involve prospecting and labour skills. Farming has been given a thumbs up for the near future.

But you are right, the game still looks the same. Still in the desert, same map and you still have the same weapons killing the same guys. If you look deeper though you will see a few new mechanics rather than cosmetic changes.

everything i wanted to say is in Blxzs post, so i'll just +1 that.
Kenshi has been through an INdiegogo campaign not long ago and Chris is investing some of that money into artist(s), so as stated already the next updates may change some of the old models into something nicer plus some new stuff like wells (probably for drinking purposes : stay to long in the desert and surrounded by hostile village and you just might die out there). Also we have doors now!!
