New update broke my FPS

So before this update the march 21ST my game ran at at a solid 130-140 Fps now it runs at 15-30 FPS is there anything I can do to fix this? game is unplayable now

it had only minor changes, did it maybe change your graphics settings somehow?

have been using 1920x1080 res , have Intel Core I7-4790k cpu @ 4ghz turned down some thing to medium, no shadows etc
16gb ram
64 bit os
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1070 TI
yesterday i verify my steam integrity 3 times and eventually my fps went up too 70-90 but when I went to play when i woke up same thing happened where my fps was down to 15-40
edit : also before the update happened i had nice and smooth fps above 120 always. Also run no mods play vanilla.
Also any suggestions if any on which graphic category to turn down ?
edit 2 : after 3 more integrity verification went back up to 70-90fps also if i didn't clarify using steam to run the game
