Lo-Fi Games

I'm eager to play version 0.28.2 and to press the new RESCUE button, but there is none. Why? Because I'm still stuck with 0.27.2.
The Kenshi auto-updater told me, he'd updated successfully to 0.28.2. The Kenshi main window reads "Kenshi 0.27.2".
I even installed Desura and downloaded the Kenshi demo hoping there would be a Desura updater, but there is none. The Kenshi demo update failed just like the first one. Claimed 0.28.2, really is 0.27.2.

Is there a reliable source where I can get recent versions?
Once I saw a kenshiupdate.com url for manual downloads somewhere, but I can't figure out that one.

Help is RECOMMENDED.

I'm using a Desura version and I am having the exact same problem. I made a post about it in the update thread because I wasn't sure if the Desura version gets updated at the same time. But if you're having the same problem, then there appears to be an issue.

I too would appreciate a solution to this issue as i also want to try out the new features.

Well, I have it displaying 0.27.2, however I also see the new characters. I think the answer you are seeking is that you have updated to the latest version, the game is merely displaying the wrong version number.

I can't see anything new and those bugs which were supposed to be fixed in 0.28.2 are still causing me trouble.

PS. Is there new characters ?!? Please fix this quick!!

Except that version 0.28.2 is suppose to enable the squad button, there is suppose to be a new 'rescue button' and the 'bodyguard' command is suppose to work properly now. None of those things are available in my version, so I don't think you're right.

It also may be that the new squad members were made available in version 0.27.2? i don't know I can't find a changelog for that version. But either way, the features for 0.28.2 aren't available with the version i have, that combined with the fact the loader says it's only version 0.27.2 leads me to believe it is in fact only version 0.27.2

I must have made another file mix-up. I will fix it asap.

Well, however long it takes, i'll post here when it updates, to let you know it's working.
