Open Source for Kenshi 1?

Greetings Lo-Fi,

I recently picked up Kenshi and I have to say, I really like it. I'm a big fan of RPG and MP open world adventure/exploration games, and Kenshi scratches the itches for me.

I'm familiar with Ogre and I work with open source a lot, so I was wondering... Any chance that Kenshi 1 might go open source (or some variant thereof) once Kenshi 2 is released? I'd love to pop the hood and poke around inside. If nothing else I'd be interested in taking a shot at porting Kenshi 1 to Linux and/or BSD, GPU API limitations being the gating factor, of course.

In the meantime I'm working on trying all the game mechanics I can, pushing the limits, and generally poking the black box to see what comes out when I put something in. So far it's been very interesting, and I'm impressed with the level of detail that has gone into Kenshi.

Well done, and I'm eager to see what Kenshi 2 will have to offer.
