In the past few days, I have been experiencing an issue that I haven't been able to solve. Since purchasing 'Kenshi' from Steam a few days ago, I have been playing it quite a bit. But yesterday when I opened Steam for playing the game, I did not find this on the Steam library. I have no idea what could be the issue. Could someone please suggest how can I able t solve it?

Best suggestion would be to contact Steam support. If there is a problem, it's gonna be on their end, and there is nothing we can do about it unfortunately.

one of two things happened

1. steam forgot where your game is if you installed it any where except teh default location.
you will need to make steam discover your folder where it is again.
Go to Settings, click downloads, then click STEAM LIBRARY FOLDERS
select the location where you have your games installed, then hit ok. steam will discover then again.
this is also a steam issue, if you install onto a different drive, steam can forget where your games are installed. the above methed will fix the issue 100% of the time.
the bug though, can still happen.

2. now if its installed in teh default location, then you need to contact steam support.

You are right, also this article suggested the same. First I followed one method (Allow Administrative Privileges To Steam) from this article, then I updated Steam. Now I can easily find the game in the Steam library. Yes, you are right, it was the Steam issue. Anyway, thank you for your suggestions.
