What if, after someone or a group had died, vultures or buzzards spawned and circled over their bodies.

If you could see them from a distance it could be a nice indicator that there were individual/groups of NPCs either dead (yay, loot) or in-trouble and needing help.
*Not so keen on it as just a graphical thing that's of no real use, it's the sort of thing that can look pretty bad if it’s not done right.

I like it, even if purly for looks. Though it def would be a great indicator for showing where a battle may be going on (circling buzzards) and how long ago the battle may have taken place (not sure how to reflect that in buzzards position)

This would be a good explanation for disappearing bodies. I like it. Crows would work too. The birds along with a texture change on the fallen bodies could illustrate decay before finally disappearing.

It would be really cool to find skeletons from battles that had happened a while previous, lol

This is a great I would really like to see it implemented in such a way.
Skeletons is aslo something I think is needed.
On a completly different note. Has anyone discussed the option of sharpening and polishing weapons?
The rusty junk that seems to be the norm in the wasteland should be able to be restored a bit in skilled hands.

I like it!
Anybody remember Jagged Alliance 2? After successfully defeating attackers and later fighting against new enemies in the same location, the bodies of the previously beaten guys where there on the ground rotting, and being surrounded by large, black birds.
I always found it great for ambience. Even cooler was the fact, that if you came too close to one of these bodies, the birds got scared and flew away.

Buzzards would be a great and sensible way to simulate body decay, instead of bodies just disappearing
and it makes sense the more bodies, the more buzzards.. Right? :3 and crows probably wouldn't travel into the desert, they would most likely stay in colder climates, unless during migration
and pet buzzards/crows would be awesome! O: You could feed them all of those pesky slaves that decide to revolt xP
