Lo-Fi Games

Will the game be sold through GOG.com? I hope so. I prefer that site over Steam. All their games are DRM free, and they always include lots of bonuses and great service over all. And GOG.com is no longer Good Old Games, they are now just GOG.com and have plenty of new games and indie games there as well.

are a few examples. They are all relatively new and are all indie. Some are very popular, like the first 2 and the last 2. I really hope if you didn't plan to sell your game through to GOG.com that you at least consider it.

Why not just buy through this website? You don't need to use steam, you are giving a greater share of the money to the developer and it is the same price, if not cheaper while still being DRM free.

This is about as much win as you can fit into a win/win situation.

EDIT: Also, I like your choice in games. I own almost all of those.

The amount of accounts and places i have games is getting a little overwhelming haha. I can't remember all the places i have games anymore. It's easier if they're all in one place. But i might buy it from the developer. Still, I'd prefer GOG.com but I'll see.

I know what you mean, things are getting ridiculous. I have accounts everywhere and its hard to remember passwords sometimes, especially when they require you to have certain numbers of letters and capitals and stuff.... (fuck you paypal)

Still, the benefit of buying here now is you can play the game right away without waiting til it goes to gog and the auto updater means you don't ever actually have to come back here if you don't want to.

I manage to survive with all the accounts by having 3 different passwords with different length and putting capital letters and same numbers the same way if needed. This way I really have 3 passwords to remember and the 15 variations are easily guessed or I can check the password requirements of the forum/account/whatever from their site and figure that way witch one to use.

Yes, except where you forget which one you used, have too many attempts. Recreate the password and then they won't let you use one you have used before. OR, even worse is when they require you to change it every number of months. This is just stupidity and if I can find the link to the xkcd comic that highlights it I will.

Yeah, being into IT security stuff and the other side, i find it stupid that sites are forcing you to use a certain format...
eg some sites force you to use a capital letter for the first symbol of your pass (pokerstars for ex.).
now looking at this two examples:

- 8 random symbols(about 94 symbols possible)
94^8 = 6,095,689,385,410,816 possible passwords

- 1 capital letter (26 symbols) + 7 random symbols (94)
26*94^7 = 1,686,041,744,900,864

so basically by forcing us to use a capital letter, they made the pass about 3-4 times easier to bruteforce... stupid

My favourite part is when some of these sites try to save your credit card info to make buying crap easier. (Yeah, like their websites are safe and secure)
