Question from a newbie

Please forgive me if this is in the wrong section or if there is a guide to kenshi that I was not aware of but I only have a two questions.

1) I notice that some of my characters have minus stats , for example attack 6(-5) and I can't seem to get rid of it. I figured a bone was broken so a splint kit should have worked but it didn't. Is this permanent?

2) I like the idea of being a bandit but is there a way to increase my rep with bandits?

1a) Minus stats probably come from backpacks negative affects. They reduce stats and make attacks slower. Try unequipping backpacks and see what happens.

1b) Splint kits aren't working at the moment at all. Just use first aid and use first aid kit to "make the bar yellow." After that it will heal with time. If you want to make it heal faster, go to bed.

2) You can heal them and carry them to beds after they pass out. Probably the fastest way is to start beating them out and heal/carry to beds after that. It will increase the relations more than decreases.

1) You're probably wearing a backpack. Check it to see if it is subtracting from your stats. Most of them do, especially the bigger ones.

2) Not sure faction rep is fully implemented right now. But if you heal (first aid) a down character, your rep with that faction appears to increase.
