See I have this weird problem, I can install the game on desura and play it, everything's fine, my key works. don't really care if it says demo since I still have the full version, but here's the problem.

It won't let me install the game with just the standalone installer package. It keeps saying you must be logged in to an administrator account. And my (windows) account has full administrator privileges, I don't really get what's wrong. It's the only game I've had this issue with so far.

I would really like to be able to help test out new versions in the future and/or not need to access desura while playing kenshi.

Are you running on Windows 7? Try right clicking on the installer, and select "run as administrator"

I've already tried that unfortunately. It just pops up with the same thing, which is really puzzling.

I just unticked a box in the install-maker that says "require admin rights". Don't know what it does, but the next installer I release in a few days for .40 might work better for you.

right click >>>> Properties >>>> Compatibility >>>> Tick the box that says run as administrator. the scren should go dark with a little prompt window. Press yes on it. :P

I've tried that as well already ;) thanks though. Chris' solution should fix the issue when the patch releases XD.
