Building and construction

Hello, I just purchased the game 2 days ago and am loving it so far, even for everything that isn't in the game yet. I just blast my own tunes and get down while mercing sand bandits lol. Anyway, my question is about the building, I am noticing that I am not able to build outposts. is there any reason why these structures are not in the game or have been taken out?
Seems like some real cool structures to be able to build, if I had access to them.

You can start manufacturing at least some of the goods, which you can then turn and sell for PROFIT!

I have only made building materials, hemp cloth, and rum so far. But the cloth is very small, not very heavy, and sells for a ton.
Once I discovered I could sell massive amounts of it to the sales counter in the bars I am rolling in the money! Straw hats and armored shoes for everyone!
