Yo Chris! I've been watching the dev of Kenshi for a while now (since the posts on the Ogre forum).
I like the concept of realistic fighting and such, only I wish the player would be able to control the character in 3rd person, like Mount & Blade (loved that game!).

Kenshi's your game though, so we fans just got to wait 'til we can play the final (or near final) product.

The problem I have is that I'm not hearing any updates. Regular screenshots would be awesome! Even if they're just of the dev environment (start menu and all), showing whatever you're working on at the moment.
Short (1 page) updates describing what you've done for the past few days would be just as kool. Mixing that with screenshots (a la wolfire) would be even sweeter.
Fans always have suggestions, but the best way to keep them interested is to tell them what YOU plan.

We're waiting Mr The_Great

I know, its all because I am lazy. I am working hard on the game right now, and when I do its a sort of feverish excitement that makes doing anything else (eg posting updates, fixing the website, getting exercise, seducing women) almost painful. It breaks my momentum.

So in other words I'm too busy working on the game to update the website. Its not so much a time thing, more like a flow thing.
And thats why I'm lazy. But you are totally right anyway.

Oh yes, and I have left scope for me to implement a 3rd person control system in the future, but for now I have far too many more important things to fix and add. It may get added later on in development if there is enough demand, but primarily the game is about squad tactics rather than hack and slash.

even random screenshots of 1 or 2 fixes/new features will do. I haven't seen anything in ages... 1ce a week would be real great (so long as it's 10 or so screenshots haha).

In lieu of third person view, is there a way or mod to have the camera "auto follow" my character?
Thanks in advance. :)

well if you right-click a character portrait, the camera will keep that chara in the middle of the screen (its not really 3rd person view but it helps a lot^^)

You should always proofread carefully to make sure you didn't any words out.

Need help? pm me or any other mod.
