Can the evaluation copy save be exported to the actual game?

Yeah I spent 24 hours on a base as a wanderer ( Dumb idea yes but still ) and I don't want to lose it all.

You should be able to put in the key and continue without any of the limits. I played the trial for a few minutes before deciding to purchase the full game. Later, I just copied my save folder to Steam version since I started using the steam version of the game.
