Will Crash Dumps ever be implemented into Steam if the game crashes for some reason there? Unless Steam Crashes already create crash dumps... But either way i am not getting any. Any say on this?

My english isnt that good but i hope i unsterstand you correct.

I have a Steam Version from this Alpha 0.40.5
and every time when its crashed (mostly on my fault )
than the Game puts an crash report in the game directory.

Obi is correct, the best way to address these crashes is to upload them to a new thread if you find a reproducible crash that isn't already being discussed in the bug reports forums. Chris is generally quite quick about addressing these sorts of things when they're posted to the forums.

I don't think both of you are understanding me correctly.

Playing the game without steam creates Crash Dumps when the game so happens to crash.

If you play the game with Steam and the game crashes, no Crash Dumps are generated in the Kenshi folder.

My question is, when will Crash Dumps start recording for Kenshi if you play via Steam.

Oh i understand correct and for my Game ( i play only on Steam )
everytime when it crashes it create a file in the Folder .

So sorry i cant say when it makes a File but i can say that it does in my Steam version.

And i can say that the Game is running Stable. The crashes come mostly when i start the ingame Editor or creating items that are not implemented yet.
Another crash is coming when i run the gane a long time minimized or when i shut in the option the first deside at any other things than 0 .

So i hope i can help u a bit and sorry for my bad english, maybe it is readable


Edit: when the game crashes on Steam try to switch to The Desktop and than u must see the Error Message. When u see the Message than a File will be created.

Where is the file located exactly?
