Anyone up for a game of Mafia?

Just asking to see if anyone is interested in a Mafia (also known as Werewolf) forum game here. Depending on the amount of response I get I may or may not host one. I figure it would be a nice way to bridge the gap until the first Kenshi release. And if there is enough interest after Kenshi's release I might run a Kenshi-themed game of Mafia (using in-game factions/jobs as roles etc.) though this depends entirely on how the game will be structured (procedurally generated factions or hard-coded ones etc.)

For those who don't know what Mafia (or Werewolf) is, here are the rules. (If you want a nicely illustrated and animated version, see this link http://mikeburnfire.sitesled.com/mafiascum04.swf)
There are two teams: "Town" and "Mafia". Members of the Town team are generally referred to as Townies or Innocents. The members of the Mafia team are referred too as Scum or Goons. The roles are randomly decided by the Moderators and PMed to the players. The goal for the Town is to lynch all Mafia members, whereas the Mafia will try to get all Townies killed. A Townie is informed of his/her role by the Moderator but does not know the roles/alignments of the other players. A Goon is informed of his/her role and is also told who the other Goons are.

During Day phase, everybody can chat in the game thread and vote to lynch someone they think is acting suspicious. Once someone reaches a majority of the votes he will die and his role will be revealed by the Moderator. After a lynch (or if the deadline is reached without any lynch) Day phase ends and Night begins. During Night everybody "sleeps" and cannot communicate with each other. The Mafia can now talk with each other in secret (PMs) and choose a target to kill. At the end of the night the Moderator will tell everyone who has been killed and reveal his role (unless nobody was killed during the night).
When you are killed, you can no longer participate in the game.

Then Day begins again and the cycle will repeat until only one team remains. NOTE: Mafia wins once the number of Goons equals the number of Townies, as they can then just quickly speedvote to lynch a townie and kill the other at night. Once a team wins, ALL members of the team, even the dead ones, are winners.

Power Roles:
The Cop can choose to target one player every night, he will then be informed of this player's alignment (town or scum). The cop is Pro-Town.

The Doctor can choose to protect one player from a night-kill every night. He cannot protect himself. The Doc is Pro-Town.
If you have any questions or suggestions, just ask away!

A few rules:
-No PMs during the Day.
-No quoting any private messages you got from the Moderator.
-No contacting people with information after you are dead (this refers to both in-thread and via PMs)
-If the Moderator discovers you broke any of these rules, he or she can choose how to punish you. Usually this will be in the form of an instant Modkill.
-Day will normally last one week.
-Night will normally last 48 hours.
-Be polite. This is the most important rule of all. Remember this one ALWAYS.

You should check out Mafiascum.net and join a newbie game then, it's a nice and helpful community. (at least it was last time I was there, about a year ago now... wow, time sure flies by fast.)

Main difference between forum and real life is that games last much longer and you have these so-called "post by post" analyses people sometimes make. That's were they (try to) point out when/where a person suddenly changed voting habits etc. in an attempt to hunt down scum.

There seems to be little interest on this forum though, understandable since the community is quite small now. Maybe later there will be more interest.
