game crashes with .42 patch

so i re installed kenshi due to a saved game kept crashing but now i cant start a new game because the game crashes at main menu :/ any ideas how to get this fixed....i need my kenshi fix im having with draws

This may not be the problem, but make sure not to press any buttons on your keyboard while in the main menu. You could also try flipping the "force single thread" check box.

Where did you buy the game? Update to .42.2 and see if that fixes your issues.

When I first installed the game it would crash frequently. Then I updated my nvidia drivers and it hasn't crashed since. Give it a shot.
