hey I made a shop and crafted some weapons and set it to public but why no one visits my shop is there something else i have to do ?

It is not implemented yet

I want to be a business man dammit!!

It will be added soon, right now a lot of art assets are being incorporated, and then armor smithing and the integration of walls back into the game will likely come along before we can create our own shops.

In the latest news post, the creator says shops are now functional; how do we do them? Like OP, I have a shop counter in a place set to public, and nothing's happening.

You need to wait for the actaul update to come, in such post he just mention to not ask for them, because they are done.

In fact, it's "ready" in the upcoming patch, but the said patch isn't finished yet.
Chris is adding a lot of other things in this patch before releasing it.

As said above, we'll all have our shops when the patch is released.

The projected release for the patch, including all art assets and the coveted opening of our own shops, is scheduled for Tuesday.

I not sure but by what i got, only things able to be sold or that NPCs buy for now are rather food/drink items, forgot the word for it, i might be wrong tho as he said weapons looted won t be able to be sold that form (i hope any lootables won t "I won t buy stolen things, stay with your trouble" ), but we ll see tomorrow.

I certainly hope its planed that looted items and such can be sold to the shifty factions. Or even being able to sell other factions "branded" items to certain factions that may be interested.

So i am very much hoping there is more detail going into all this further down the track, otherwise i may actually have to get off my lazy mule and make the mod for it (doubtful as my mule is rather comfortable)

I guess only thieves would buy such things tho, shitty factions as you said.
