Hi there!
Kenshi looks really interesting, also very similar to Mount&Blade. Has the travel-map like in M&B been considered? I remember walking from city to city in Oblivion, and that resulted in some really great adventures and really gave me a sense of feeling about how big the world is, but when I played M&B, it did the same thing, it did more awesome stuff with it, and there was much less down-time between exciting things happening, while it still gave the proper scope and time-scale.

kenshi is nothing like m&b, imho.
a m&b-like travel map wouldn't have much meaning in kenshi, i think. There could be fast travel (i'd rather not) or some "go there" order using the map.
the travel map in m&b is there 'cause all the locations are a bunch of separate maps that needed some way to be joined together

Your friendly neighborhood headcrab!
Had that problem recently, walked miles across desert and mountain til find one, when i found bandits kept raiding me with no break, everytime my dudes were up, bandits, eventually the bounty escaped... On the bright side another had go down, and the soldiers of the close citty knocked down mine, so 2 bounties in total + a great increase of my current heavy weapons/mule guy.
It s Hbrown!! Gotta get some pies!
