Lo-Fi Games

Hey everyone,

I couldn't find a "Introduce Yourself" thread or anything to that nature so I thought I would make one for myself. I've been playing just about every type of game since the dawn of the gaming age (about 1996 for me) Since the beginning there's always been a few key features that have attracted me;

- Combat (I'm a male gamer, what do you expect? Lollipops and butterflies?)
- Freeplay/Open World (I like to kill things on my own time, where and how I want)
- Monetary System (I like being rewarded for killing things)
- Creationalism (The ability to take my blood money and invest/purchase with it)
- Business/Architect (I like to build big pretty buildings, so I can destroy it later)


It just so happens that I have found every single one of those features in some way or another carefully knitted into the fabric of Kenshi. Basically gives me a big, dare I say? Chub. (Can I say that?) I'm assuming it's mostly a more mature, patient audience here.

In any case I look forward to opening this gem when I get home and slowly polishing it. Oh yeah, and I'm a huge fan of the Mount & Blade series. Seems like a lot of you are like-minded individuals and mostly have a good sense of what a good game looks like. <Quite the word tetris there.

haha :3 welcome to the club i found just about everything i like in a game in kenshi. Only funny thing i just ran into , having to bases with the new job feature, my guys running form halfway across the map to fuel my stone processer, stupid things.. lol

Hello and wecome to the Kenshi forums, and there is one, in the off topic.

And i guess i can say we seem to share some tastes in gaming, tho i guess a lot who get this game do, would be weird to a person buy something they don t like , tho i seen some which seem to be so for simple lack on informing themselves before buy...
