Hi all again, just wondering if you thought the same as me

I am super stoked with the new update! I like the idea you have to work and pay for upgrades now rather than just have them outright once you click the research (I just clicked and did other stuff then came back so there was no real effect other than waiting)

also blueprints are a great addition right? now I just hope that the blueprints can only be used a couple times on a couple different people to create diversity between the team, make them their own people if that makes sense.

I was really hoping for that music Kole has been working on but it's coming and it'll be great.

well that is my 2cents, haven't really been a huge part of the forums but wanted to stake my interest in the game and see if people were thinking the same kinda thing or have better ideas.

lastly I have only put 30something hours into this game and they would be a shit load more if I could fix a couple of things...

anyone else have the windows cursor showing simultaneously with the in game cursor? a bit annoying that I don't know why or how to fix it..

and my damn shadows lol, every single one I choose, high, low quality, shadow detail line of site, there is always a noticeable diamond on the screen where the shadows turn from great to mush.. anyone else see it or just me again :(

well hope your all doing well,

thefos

Hi,

I'm waiting for the sound update as well. The previews we have seen really got me exited :)

There is hardware mouse thingy in the options. See if that works.

Don't really understand what you mean... Why won't you post a screenshot to the bug reports? That way Chris can see it and possibly fix it in the later updates.

yeh I might post a screenshot when the build has come along a bit further, I don't think he needs more work, I just thought it might be an easy fix. The hardware mouse thing worked, thanks a bunch

and I just saw something that I LOVE!! you can remove the names from the players now, not sure when that was implemented but that is FRICKEN AWESOME I LOVE IT, now I can immerse myself into the world a lot easier

does anyone else think that the foliage seems to be everywhere? I mean I would expect it to be in some places a bit dense and less as it gets further from that specific area and maybe only or two dead trees next to each other but far apart.

I feel like the strong point of the games feeling was that of utter hopelessness and barren wasteland, I can understand there would be parts which had 'recovered' or been a bit more hospitable (dependant on why it is barren, post apoc or another planet) so that is a little disappointing but maybe that will change dynamical a bit better later on..

It's barren not because it's post apoc but because it's a placeholder. Kenshi will at some point get different biomes (including a desert).
