It seems to have been several days since 0.58.4 has been release, and still the updater is not getting it. Additionally, it cannot be found on Desura at all, and in fact, seems only available for those who have made their purchase on Steam. Is there a reason why us non-Steam users are repeatedly late for updates?

Run the WyUPDATE application to make sure that your non-Steam copy of the game is patched to the most current version.

That's exactly what I have done. It says it's current, but it's still 0.58.3.

The Steam version is updated to 58.4.....The non-steam WyUPDATE only updates to 58.3 as of just now. The non-steam version is always been behind the steam version by a number of days. Exovian's question is still valid. Why are non-steam users left behind for the updates?

Steam version is now 0.58.5 as of this morning. It's much more stable than 0.58.4 as well...went 7 solid hours of game play traversing the entire map with one of my merchants before a super crash occurred.

(Gotta track down all the blueprints I'm missing...especially the Heavy Katana/Topper one...that is, if it's back in the game yet.)

So why is the Non-Steam version updater always lagging behind. (Those of us with two copies of the game would like to know :P)

I'll post the crash report in the bug forums...

Regards,

Enth

Actually, Chris stated that he was not going to push every incremental update to the non-steam updater as a way to save on server space/usage. That being said, your cd-key should be able to be activated on steam.
