Question about wind physics

Sorry if it has been asked before, i couldn't find it.

Will the wind have any graphical effects in the game? Such as floating hair, clothes etc..
Perhaps even slowing down a character or making him faster depending on the wind direction..

Would kinda be cool to use it as a runaway strategy.

right now everything is static. aka Mesh, and it doesn't usually allow for wind dynamics

I see items based off this in Second Life, and Mesh doesn't like to move, and wind dynamics is rather complex.

We do know there will be effects, like sand storms degrading your buildings and equipment, so a visual que will most likely be in play when it gets added. after that. we dont know.

So.. wind will cause or will be caused by sandstorms, but as I've read on the roadmap, Chris is going to add new biomes..

Will this mean that if you don't like sandstorms, you can just build your base in another biome, or will other biomes have different occurrences?

(sorry i'm really enthousiastic about the game and have tons of questions. xD)

I remember reading in the past that wind will be dynamic, eventually, because the Wind Generators will produce a variable amount of power depending on the wind's velocity (not to mention those generators look like they are made to swivel a full 360 degrees to face against the wind).

From what little I know about meteorology, I'm willing to bet that wind causes sandstorms, since sand doesn't exactly move on its own.

Essentially, weather will strongly affect several factors, when it is implemented in the future.

Nope, all I know is what is on the Roadmap and Chris's Twitter, the rest is just excited speculation.

Nope
we haven't seen Chris say anything about that yet. He is very good a keep us excited about the game with small hints of what's coming but doesn't tell us exactly what it will be until he is near ready to add it in.
so getting the best answers if there is any is using your google foo here or on steam or read Chris's Twitter. Even us Admin are left wondering what's next =(^.^)=
