what are they called and where/how to find/join them?

You can join factions?

Anywaiz. One of them is the holy empire.

Dudes with red coats.

It's a little confusing, since both factions are called empires, from what I know. The difference is one is holy and the other isn't.

I assume to join one faction, you just attack members of the other faction. I can't imagine actually joining/creating factions has been implemented this early in development.

Ozy are you new or did you just get a picture?

I'm new, but I've been lurking for a couple days and just signed up recently.

Eeeyup, all I know is two factions are fighting but i don't know how I even join a side.

Its basically the red(holy empire) vs the blue(united cities). There is no joining faaction stuff yet, if you want to join in the war just attack one of the factions and make them your enemy. Or even both. Its kind of an opt-in way of making the game harder.

The united kingdom looks like the police faction.

That reminds me. I really wish there was a way to either individually change the color of "colored" clothes, or set the player faction's color or something. I'm a little obsessed with colors and being able to set them to something other than white would be nice.

Being able to do it with some armor would be nice too. Seeing people in yellow clothes walking around with blue armor is kinda icky.

You have made it easy for me to pick a faction to become enemies with.I absolutely cannot stand holier than thou paladin types,therefore they will cop the brunt of my anger.....and pointy sticks....and maybe even some harsh language......

And when I'm done with them......I'll look into the united cities sordid doings.

Agree totally with dyes for armor/clothing,gonna need that to beautify my *Band of Buzzards*.
